Trip to Kampung Kechau 10-highlights

There are somethings in life that we take for granted as "city people". Be it the cars we drive or the very computer you are using to read this post.
To the Orang Asli people of Kechau 10 a little goes a long way, just seeing them enjoy such simple things as bubbles makes us appreciate what we have so much more.

As the roads to go to said village are not paved with anything, the cars that we used to drive into the compound were deeply stuck in mud, and the roads were too slippery to drive on.
But God always has a purpose for the challenges we face.
In fact the little miracle I saw was that the Orang Asli were all coming out of their houses to help us move our cars, an amazing accomplishment considering that the first time we went to see them they would not even leave the safety of their houses to see us.

Another thing that I learned from this trip was that no matter what your talent, no matter what your background, even the things that hold you back doesn't matter because God takes what you don't have with what He has. And He has EVERYTHING!

Never say that you are not good enough or that you cannot do it in your circumstance, the Christ in YOU is the hope of All glory.
Every little seed counts as far as He is concerned

"Praise Him with the strings...."
Psalm 150:4

What do I smell like?

"But thanks be to God,who always leads us in triumph in Christ, and manifests through us the sweet aroma of the knowledge of Him in every place. For we are a fragrance of Christ to God among those who are being saved and among those who are perishing; to one aroma from death to death,to the other an aroma from life to life."

2Cor 2:14-16

Whether you like it or not you are emitting a fragrance, I'm not talking about physically, but rather spiritually.
It's telling the world who you are without saying a word (kinda like the song "when you say nothing at all").
So my readers...what do you smell like?
Is it the smell of anger, jealousy, fear, selfishness, pride?
Or do you smell like Christ?

We are living testimonies of God, lets make sure that its one that shows His glory.

*sniff sniff*.....now what is that smell?

This is it

In every era there is a musical icon, be it Elvis,The Beatles,Eagles or Beyonce. But Michael Jackson was definitely an icon that changed the music world forever. True that MJ's greatest moments were before my time but he had set the foundation for today's music and dancing.
In fact if you really want to see MJ's influence in dancing you need only watch a Tamil film!

Even in his 40s MJ could still dance like he did back in the day with the Jackson 5,his music united the world in a single tune. Billie Jean,Thriller, and Heal the world were but a few of his all time greatest works.

Michael's moment of fame may have been before my time but his influence will always be around

....as long as there is someone moon walking out there
